Everything That Keeps Your Separation Path Precise
Our instruments are only as good as the flow path you build around them. Sykam accessories — analytical and preparative columns, low-dead-volume fittings and sample loops, motor-driven valves, vacuum degassing, and CNC-machined PEEK or steel specials — are specified to the same tolerances as our modules. The right column, fitting, and fluidic choice preserves peak shape, gradient fidelity, and long-term reliability so your chromatograms stay trustworthy from installation through years of routine use.

Accessories — Separation Columns
Custom-developed, tested columns — plus guard solutions and lab refills
Our separation columns are developed, customized, and tested for your applications. That means optimal fit to your requirements and the benefit of our long experience in chromatography.
Columns you already own can be refilled in our laboratory. To protect both your columns and your instruments from particles in the eluent, we offer matching guard and pre-columns (filter columns).
On request, we can supply trial columns so you can judge suitability for your separation tasks. Our team is available for consultation at any time.
Documentation on various columns and their fields of use is available in the Downloads area on our Support page.

Fittings, Unions & Sample Loops
Leak-free connections from analytical to preparative port sizes
Standard and precision fittings, unions, reducers, and capillary connections in stainless steel and PEEK keep dead volume low and pressure ratings honest. Sample loops are precision-ground for repeatable injection volumes; catalog numbers align with S 6000 valve port geometry (1/16" analytical and 1/8" preparative paths).

Analytical & IC Columns
Pre-packed, tested, and matched to Sykam methods
Choose chemistries that are validated with Sykam systems — from amino acid and ion analysis to reversed-phase HPLC. Guards and pre-columns protect your analytical bed; our application lab helps match chemistry and dimensions to your matrix.
Column families
- Amino acid (S 433)
- Cation-exchange resins for physiological profiles (plasma, urine, CSF), protein hydrolysates, and extended standards — contact Sykam for the current portfolio and buffer compatibility.
- Ion chromatography (S 150)
- Anion: standard and high-capacity phases for Cl⁻, NO₃⁻, SO₄²⁻, PO₄³⁻, Br⁻, F⁻ in water. Cation: Na⁺, K⁺, NH₄⁺, Ca²⁺, Mg²⁺ in environmental and process water.
- Reversed-phase & other HPLC
- Analytical formats for S 600-series HPLC — we recommend dimensions and phases for your application.
Why it matters
Correct column choice protects resolution, shortens method development, and extends column life — especially when matrices are complex or throughput is high.
Preparative hardware
PEEK Column Pillars — Preparative High-Pressure Bodies
Solid PEEK bodies for metal-free purification at scale
Our preparative “column pillars” are CNC-machined from solid natural PEEK — not glass — for ion-exchange and other purifications where pressure, mechanical stability, and chemical resistance count. They open preparative options that are difficult to reach with glass hardware.

Valves, Switching & Custom Machined Parts
S 6000 fluidics plus in-house PEEK and stainless steel machining
Motor-driven S 6000 valves handle injection, column selection, and stream switching under ChromStar control. Beyond catalog parts, we machine solid PEEK and stainless steel for custom manifolds, column hardware, flow-cell bodies, and OEM interfaces — including DiaDur (DLC) coated steel where wear resistance is critical.
PEEK machining
- Material
- Solid natural PEEK — no fillers
- Typical uses
- Preparative column bodies, flow-cell windows, valve manifolds, biocompatible interfaces
Stainless steel machining
- Precision parts
- Valve stators, pump heads, custom fittings, high-pressure manifolds
- DiaDur (DLC)
- Optional coating for maximum wear resistance on moving surfaces — also used on S 6000 stators; available for custom parts
