Complete systems
Integrated Chromatography Platforms, Ready for Your Application
When pumps, injectors, ovens, detectors, and software are matched to the same separation chemistry, you spend less time tuning hardware and more time producing reliable data. Sykam complete systems combine proven modules into pre-configured lines for amino acid analysis, routine and research HPLC, ion chromatography, and radiochemical purity testing. Each platform is assembled, tested, and documented in Fürstenfeldbruck so you can move from installation to validated workflows without guesswork.
Amino acid analysis
S 433 — Automatic Amino Acid Analyser
Classical ion-exchange separation combined with modern HPLC technology
The innovative, automatic amino acid analyser S 433 combines the advantages of classical ion-exchange separation with modern HPLC technology. The complete package of well-designed modules, the wide variety of pre-packed and tested separation columns, combined with optimised ready-to-use buffer solutions and reagents, is the right answer for every routine or research problem in amino acid determination.
Applications
The S 433 amino acid analyser is designed for fully automated routine analysis. With optionally available buffers, the separation of all physiologically important amino acids is guaranteed.
HPLC
S 600 Series — Analytical HPLC Systems
Pre-configured, freely expandable systems for every analytical task
HPLC systems are required for a wide variety of applications, which makes it challenging to find the right combination of individual components. Our pre-configured S 600 Series HPLC systems can be freely assembled and easily expanded at a later stage — specialised for a single application or designed for multiple different analyses. It is straightforward to combine different detection methods, provided the physical properties of the analytes allow it. We are happy to assist you in configuring the right system for your needs.

Biotech
Biotech — Inert Fluid Paths for Sensitive Workflows
PEEK, PTFE, and biocompatible modules for biomolecule-friendly chromatography
When metal contact must be avoided, Sykam biotech systems combine inert pumps, autosamplers, valves, and flow paths with the same precision as our analytical lines. Configure PEEK or PTFE wetted surfaces, high-salt buffers, and dedicated biotech autosamplers for protein, peptide, and ion workflows.
Ion chromatography
S 150 / S 151 — Pre-Configured Ion Chromatographs
Reliable determination of anions, cations, and organic acids
With our pre-configured ion chromatograph, a wide variety of anions, cations, and organic acids can be reliably determined in the shortest time. By coupling different detectors, the system's sensitivity can be adapted to a wide range of sample concentrations, ensuring an optimal result at all times.

Radiopharmaceutical QC
Radio-HPLC
Pre-configured for the most common decay-measurement challenges
The pre-configured Radio-HPLC is designed as standard to cover the most common challenges in decay measurements. We offer a system with a highly sensitive NaI(Tl) scintillation detector that, together with the integrated photomultiplier and 4π well-type geometry, delivers excellent sensitivity.
Both gamma and positron radiation can be detected. All peak intensities are automatically half-life corrected in the data software to maximise reproducibility and accuracy of measurements.
Integrated valves (partly optional) and the sample loops used ensure high flexibility across the activity levels you employ. For effective shielding and staff protection, all fluid-contacting parts are shielded, largely minimising radiation exposure for the operator.
Radio-HPLC specifications
- Material
- Stainless steel or PEEK
- Detector
- NaI(Tl) scintillation detector with photomultiplier
- Maximum sensitivity
- 511 keV
Applications
The Radio-HPLC is designed for routine diagnostics and analytics in clinical environments.
